A long story, short.
We designed a prototype of a FX trading calculator tool that simplifies margin evaluation. Traders can input their values and provider’s rates to instantly see if the margins are fair, enhancing transparency and making decision making quicker. The prototype allowed the client to demonstrate the value to stakeholders and investors.
The Problem
FX industry relies heavily on manual processes and Excel spreadsheets, lacking transparency for clients who receive prices with no context, usually over the phone. There is no central platform where traders can log their trades and access live updates.
The Opportunity
Leveraging the market knowledge and experience of two ex-FX traders to build a platform tailored to the needs of traders and simplifying margin evaluations.

Lean Canvas Kick-off
Discovering the context of the business.
We ran a session together with Bracket group where we identified the unique value propositions, target customer segments, and core problems we aimed to solve.
This gave us a better understanding of what the calculator should include and the overall functionality.
Low-fidelity Wireframes
Defining the content architecture.
The wireframe designs were created to to gain clear understanding of the calculator features and structure before we tackled the hi-fidelity visuals.
Focusing on the basic layout helped us iterate and make changes quickly.
Final Hi-fidelity Designs
Responsive designs aligning with the existing branding.
To ensure consistency across the designs, we created basic components as functional building blocks. These components were designed so they align with the Bracket group brand.
Enhancing the user experience by adding a gauge to immediately add clarity on margin status.
